Privacy Policy

Trip Logistics Assistant is an MCP connector for Claude that suggests travel booking options (car rentals, transfers, tours, eSIMs, luggage storage, flight compensation) with links to partner websites. It is operated by Petr Kushnir, an individual ("we", "us"). This policy describes what data the service processes and how.
1. What we collect
The service is deliberately minimal. It has no user accounts, no sign-up and sets no cookies. We collect:
- Tool requests. When Claude calls one of our tools on your behalf, we receive and log the tool name and its arguments — for example a destination ("Malaga airport"), travel dates, number of passengers, driver age, or a flight issue type. We log the time of the call and how many results were returned.
- Link clicks. Each booking link in our cards is a short redirect URL.
When a link is generated and when it is opened, we record a random link ID, which
tool produced it, the partner destination URL, and timestamps. The same random ID
is passed to the partner as a tracking tag (
sub_id) so that bookings can be attributed to this connector. - Standard server logs. Like virtually every web server, ours records technical request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) for security and operations. These logs are rotated and deleted automatically within approximately two weeks.
2. What we do NOT collect
- We do not see your Claude conversation — only the tool arguments Claude decides to send to our tools. Your conversation is processed by Anthropic under Anthropic's privacy policy.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details or account credentials. Our tools have no fields for them.
- We do not link tool requests or clicks to your identity. The tracking tag is a random ID, not derived from you or your device.
- We do not sell or share data for advertising, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
3. How we use the data
- To operate the service: resolve your request to relevant options and generate working booking links.
- To measure that the service works: how often tools are called, which destinations are requested, how often links are opened.
- To receive affiliate commissions: partners report bookings against our tracking tags, which is how the free service is funded.
- To improve coverage: aggregate request data tells us which destinations to add to our reference data.
4. Third parties
When you open a booking link from a card, you leave our service and land on a partner website. The link carries our affiliate identifiers (including the random tracking tag described above). From that point the partner's own privacy policy and terms apply. Our partners are:
- DiscoverCars.com — car rentals (direct affiliate partnership).
- Travelpayouts — an affiliate network through which links to the
following brands are routed: Airalo (eSIM), WeGoTrip (tours and
attraction tickets), GetTransfer (transfers), Radical Storage
(luggage storage) and AirHelp (flight compensation). Travelpayouts link
redirects (
tp.media) may set their own tracking as described in their policies.
We do not send them anything about you beyond what is contained in the link itself. We never receive your personal or payment details from partners — only anonymous booking statistics tied to tracking tags.
Our infrastructure providers are netcup (server hosting, Germany) and Porkbun (domain and email forwarding). Email sent to our contact address is forwarded to and answered from a Google (Gmail) mailbox.
5. Retention
- Tool request and click records: kept while the service operates, because affiliate commissions can be attributed to a click months after it happens and we need aggregate history to maintain coverage. Reviewed periodically; data with no remaining operational value is deleted.
- Server logs: deleted automatically within approximately two weeks.
- Backups of the metrics database are kept on a rolling basis (currently 14 daily snapshots) and expire automatically.
6. Where data is stored
All service data is stored on a server located in Germany (EU). Backup copies of the metrics database remain under the operator's direct control within the EU. No data is transferred elsewhere except as described in section 4.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can stop all data collection at any time by removing the connector in Claude's settings, or simply by not using its tools.
- You may request information about, or deletion of, data you believe relates to you by contacting us at the address below. Note that our records are keyed by random link IDs, not identities, so we may need details (e.g. approximate time and request) to locate relevant records.
- If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also have statutory rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. Children
The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The current version is always at this address, with the date above. Material changes will be reflected in the connector's listing where applicable.
